Entering 2024, there will be more businesses operating in the field of environmental protection in the province, creating fierce competition. The estimated implementation of bidding packages is lower than the actual volume, the cost of environmental protection activities is large, in that context, the prices of some items serving environmental protection work have increased, especially fuel prices, affecting production and business results, affecting the lives of officers, employees and workers.

Difficulties piled up, but from the beginning of 2024, the Party Committee of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company predicted the situation so that professional leaders were determined to complete their tasks well. Specifically, professional leaders built detailed professional operation plans, organized the conversion of production models and plans, and provided services according to specific and closed conditions and processes. At the same time, they were proactive and sensitive in expanding the service business market, signing many contracts with customers inside and outside the province to create jobs, increase revenue for the unit, thereby stabilizing jobs and increasing income for workers.

By the end of 2024, Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company has successfully completed the task of implementing the package of collecting, transporting, and treating environmental sanitation in Vinh City; stably managing and operating the Nghi Yen Solid Waste Treatment Complex, ensuring stable collection and treatment of waste for Vinh City, Cua Lo town (old) and surrounding areas.

In Vinh City alone, the Company ensures sanitation and garbage collection for 140 main roads; collects and transports more than 350 tons of garbage/day for 377/377 residential blocks and hamlets. On average, the Complex Enterprise receives over 700 tons of garbage/day. By the end of 2024, it has processed more than 290,000 tons of garbage, ensuring compliance with approved procedures.

At the same time, Nghe An Urban Construction and Environment Joint Stock Company has demonstrated its capacity to sign contracts to execute many construction packages in other provinces. Specifically, such as the tree care package at the Aluminum Companies in Dak Nong and Lao Cai provinces; implementing the industrial cleaning package at Khanh Hoa Electricity Company... Currently, Nghe An Urban Construction and Environment Joint Stock Company is implementing tree care and landscape beautification packages in Hai Phong city; waste treatment to protect the environment of Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir in Ky Son and Tuong Duong districts...

Production and business results in 2024, total revenue of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company reached over 180 billion VND, reaching 135% compared to 2023. In which, revenue from implementing the bidding package with Vinh City People's Committee was over 104 billion VND; revenue from other services was over 78 billion VND; completed 100% of targets for paying taxes, social insurance, health insurance, trade union fees, and funds to the State budget on time.

In order to achieve good professional results, Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company always cares about and takes care of the lives of cadres, employees and workers, both materially and spiritually. Especially the salary regime, sick leave, maternity leave, visiting regime, funeral and wedding events; regularly giving unexpected rewards to cadres, employees and workers with many innovations in production and business.
