With a term full of difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee of Nghe An Rubber Investment and Development Joint Stock Company has led the unit to achieve remarkable achievements, a memorable milestone in the history of the company's Party Committee.

Mr. Pham Van Hieu (Director of TNXP Farm 2) happily shared: The farm currently has nearly 70 workers, most of whom are local workers, workers and children of workers of the old TNXP Group 2, and hundreds of seasonal workers during the land reclamation periods for new planting. With over 3,000 hectares of land handed over, in just over a year, nearly 700 hectares of rubber have been planted on Thanh Duc and Hanh Lam land, the first tea trees are nearly 3 meters high, growing well.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Cuong was hired as a worker from the very beginning and took care of 10 hectares of rubber. "Every month I earn over 5 million VND, I have insurance, I took advantage of intercropping more than 5 hectares of incense roots since November last year, and will harvest at the end of this year" - the young man born in 1993 excitedly boasted. It is known that most of the worker households here are encouraged to intercrop other plants such as incense roots, potatoes, and beans of all kinds to increase their income. The entire farm currently has over 50 hectares of incense roots, and in 2014, after deducting all expenses, each hectare also brought in a profit of 35 - 40 million VND.

After 2 years, returning to the raw material area of ​​Nghe An Rubber Company in 4 communes of Tien Phong, Hanh Dich, Que Son and Muong Noc of Que Phong district, the impression of the high hills, mottled with white patches from the burning of forests for farming by the people is no longer there, instead are green rubber hills, trees standing tall and proud. Returning to this highland, I heard many happy stories about rubber trees. Those are difficult circumstances, husbands addicted and then died, young children, life was so precarious before, but since being accepted as farm workers, it has become so stable with an average income of 4.8 million VND/person/month, not to mention the effectiveness of intercropping under the rubber canopy; This is a story about young workers of the Thai ethnic group who, after only a few years here, from having no stable job, now have a decent amount of capital, a garden, a stable income, and are honored to join the Party ranks at a very young age, such as Vi Van Hoa and Lo Van Duyen (team 1).

That is also the story of young man Luu Duc Van (team 2), with only 5.73 hectares of rubber trees to take care of, Van intercropped with lemongrass. In 2013, with the price of 12,000 VND/kg of fresh lemongrass imported from Vinh, he earned over 160 million VND from selling lemongrass; in 2014, he earned nearly 100 million VND due to lower prices and this year, in less than half a year, his family has earned over 70 million VND from lemongrass. Mr. Le Huu Huy (Farm Director) said: Currently, the unit has received 140 official workers, of which 114 are children of Thai and Kho Mu ethnic minorities in Que Phong district, in addition to regularly employing about 500 seasonal workers.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Thang, Party Secretary and General Director of Nghe An Rubber Investment and Development Joint Stock Company confided: Currently, we have planted 4,000 hectares of rubber, employing more than 600 workers with stable jobs and incomes, of which 84% are ethnic minorities. The average income of the whole company during the term reached over 5 million VND/person/month, 100% of employees and workers have paid social insurance and full benefits and policies according to the provisions of the Labor Code. The unit's activities have also contributed to the localities in eliminating hunger, reducing poverty, and getting rich, building infrastructure for roads, and contributing to the construction of new rural areas.

It can be said that under the direction of the Party Committee of the company, the past term was an important milestone in the implementation of the unit's tasks. The company has started to pay the budget over 1.6 billion VND, fully paid social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance for over 600 employees; coordinated with the Land Acquisition Council of 3 districts to support and compensate for land acquisition of 4,700 hectares. The unit also performed well the task of protecting the area of ​​3,256 hectares of protective forest (received from the Youth Volunteer Team 7 - Construction and Development of Nghe An), preventing forest fires and deforestation. As of April 2015, the company's rubber plantation area was 4,279.08 hectares, of which the newly planted rubber plantation of the term was over 3,629 hectares, equal to 120% of the plan.

One of the important factors that helped the company's Party Committee achieve these results was the good implementation of the grassroots democracy regulations. The unit has built the Workplace Democracy Regulations, the periodic dialogue regulations at the workplace, etc. After the 1st Congress of the Nghe An Rubber Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Term 2012 - 2015), the Party Committee of the company has built the operating regulations of the Party Committee and the Party Committee's Inspection Commission, consolidated and divided into 5 affiliated Party cells associated with professional functions, tasks, and management areas, and promptly consolidated working style and manners, seriousness in activities, promoted democracy, and exemplary pioneering spirit among the Party Committee and the Party Committees of affiliated Party cells.

The work of organizing cadres is carried out in accordance with the process, democratically, openly and transparently, focusing on rejuvenating the cadre team, having moral qualities, having capacity, giving priority to female cadres. The work of developing party members is taken care of by the Party Committee. During the past term, 15 outstanding union members were able to attend the Party target class and 8 comrades were admitted to the Party, bringing the total number of party members to 50 comrades. National defense, security, social policy, political and ideological work are also well implemented. Thanks to that, the political awareness of cadres, party members and workers has been raised, their ideology is steadfast, united, always believing in the leadership and innovation policy of the Party.
