Continuing the campaign for the 2013 Children's Action Month, on the morning of June 29th, Prudential Life Insurance Company in Nghe An, in coordination with the Provincial Children's Protection Fund and Hoan My Hospital (Da Nang), conducted screening for congenital heart disease for underprivileged children in Vinh City, Cua Lo Town, Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, and Thanh Chuong districts.

Attending the opening ceremony of the free heart disease screening for children were representatives from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Prudential Company in Nghe An, the Children's Protection Fund, leaders of Hoan My Hospital (Da Nang), and a large number of children who were screened in this round.

In Nghe An province, Prudential has recently collaborated with various departments and agencies to carry out numerous community activities such as supporting the construction of charitable houses, donating gifts to poor women, and sponsoring hundreds of scholarships for underprivileged children, totaling over 2.5 billion VND. This is the second time this year that Prudential has partnered with the Provincial Children's Protection Fund to organize a free heart disease screening program for disadvantaged children. This free screening will examine nearly 400 children, with a total value of 30 million VND, and will take place over two days, June 29th and 30th, 2013.
