The illegally constructed buildings in Vinh City's Central Park have not yet been demolished!
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Vinh City has issued a decision to fine Trung Long Joint Stock Company (headquartered at 2 Le Mao Street, Vinh City) 45 million VND and ordered the demolition of two illegal structures built in violation of planning regulations within Vinh City's Central Park within 10 days.

Previously, on March 1, 2017, the People's Committee of Vinh City issued Decision No. 1012a/QD-UBND imposing an administrative fine of 45 million VND on Trung Long Joint Stock Company for violating regulations by constructing buildings in violation of the 1/500 detailed planning of the Vinh City Central Park project (specifically, building item No. 36 intended as a flower trellis and building item No. 2 intended as an outdoor parking lot, but in reality, a row of buildings for selling food and drinks and a car wash were constructed).
Simultaneously with the penalty, the Vinh City People's Committee requested Trung Long Joint Stock Company to dismantle the parts of the construction that violated the planning regulations at construction items No. 36 and No. 2 mentioned above within 10 days from the date of receiving the decision. If the investor, Trung Long Joint Stock Company, fails to dismantle the illegally constructed buildings, the demolition will be enforced, and the company will be responsible for paying the costs.
However, more than nine months have passed since the decision to impose penalties and order demolition was made, but the aforementioned structures still remain!
Recently, on December 19, 2017, the Inspectorate of the Department of Construction submitted Report No. 195/TTXD to the Director of the Department of Construction regarding the inspection of two illegally constructed buildings in the central park of Vinh City.
After inspection, the coordinating forces agreed to direct the relevant departments and the People's Committee of Truong Thi Ward to urge and supervise the investor in dismantling the two aforementioned illegal constructions, and to submit a written report to the Department of Construction no later than January 5, 2018.
Reportedly, this is not the first time this company has violated regulations. Previously, in 2011, authorities in Nghe An province also dealt with Trung Long Joint Stock Company for violations in the construction sector.
