Recently, the news that XH Garment Company Limited (Binh Duong province) went bankrupt, hundreds of workers did not receive their salaries or Tet bonuses, causing panic in the community. On the morning of January 15, on her official fanpage, singer Thuy Tien called for donations.

Yesterday, Tien was so worried that she couldn't sleep because she thought that if she didn't have enough to buy tickets for you guys and let everyone celebrate in vain, she would feel extremely guilty. Each text message transferring 50k, 100k, 200k was the majority, but each of us contributed a little bit and it turned into a real storm. Almost 1 billion! At the same time, the singer also announced that she would stop accepting donations. The money received will then be used for more difficult situations.

On January 19, as announced, singer Thuy Tien and her husband Cong Vinh went to the garment company to give nearly 1 billion in support money to the workers. Of which, 200 million was from the singer and her husband, the rest was from the community.

“Each worker on the registration list received 2.5 million VND, but in reality, if I saw any worker struggling too much, I would give them an additional 500 - 1 million VND.

Some workers were not on the registration list, so Tien asked the head of the human resources department to check the company's salary arrears to avoid missing anyone who needed help. Some people were at the end of the list of unpaid salaries, but if they had a card, Tien decided to give them 500,000 VND for Tet, and if their house was further away in the North or Central region, she would give them 1 million - 1.5 million VND.
