Electric pole on Nguyen Van Cu street caught fire fiercely in broad daylight

(Baonghean.vn) – At around 9am on February 8, an electric pole in front of house number 20, Nguyen Van Cu Street, Vinh City suddenly caught fire. The fire burned down all the wires, meter boxes and telecommunication cables hanging on it.

Ms. Le Thuy, who was working nearby, said: "Before the fire, I heard a loud explosion, then the electric pole started to burn fiercely."

When discovering the fire, people living nearby used portable fire extinguishers to put out the fire and reported it to the authorities.

As soon as receiving the news, Fire Police Department No. 1 promptly arrived to extinguish the fire.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause and troubleshooting.
