Crimea has learned how to intercept and land Ukrainian drones
Russian troops in Crimea have successfully mastered new tactics against UAVs flying to the peninsula from Ukraine. Now these devices are not only shot down, but also forced to land, which is much more useful for gathering operational information.

This result was achieved thanks to the coordinated efforts of air defense and electronic warfare units, Sputnik quoted a source from the region's military police as saying.
Thus, the army has dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), mostly hand-made products, assembled from foreign components. They have similar dimensions and characteristics to the Russian UAV Orlan-10 (wingspan of about two meters, take-off weight of 14 kg, payload of up to 5 kg).
It is known that recently, from Ukraine there has been an increase in intelligence activities, "many waves of unmanned aerial vehicles have appeared".
To force these devices to land, military specialists carry out jamming, after which they decode the UAV program, and thus these UAVs are under the control of the Russian military. If the drones cannot be forced to land, they are shot down, but this case is not considered a good outcome.
