(Baonghean.vn) - Unlike the thoughts of many of his peers, who only hope to find a leisurely job in the city after graduation, Ho Hoang Anh, in Son Nam hamlet, Nghia Son commune (Nghia Dan), on the contrary, decided to return to his hometown to raise chickens.

In 2014, with a good degree in Environmental Management from the University of Natural Resources and Environment, along with his diligence and hard work, Ho Hoang Anh received job offers from several companies, in line with his major. However, with the thought that the land in his hometown is vast, with the knowledge he has learned, he will apply it to raising livestock, so he will not be afraid of hunger and hardship.

Thinking is doing, Anh went home to ask for his family's opinion, with his parents' support, he researched the actual livestock models, and read more documents related to chicken farming. Based on that, he decided to go back to his hometown to plan the barn, buy breeds and raise them on an area of 2000 m2. The first batch, after 4 months of raising and selling, with more than 300 broiler chickens, Anh earned a profit of over 20 million VND.

Although the initial profit was small, for Anh it was a great source of encouragement, a driving force for him to continue reinvesting. So far, the model has developed over 700 pigs/batch, 3 batches per year, bringing in an income of over 150 million VND/year, plus the egg sales revenue of 50-60 million VND/year.

Talking to us, Mr. Anh said that the fact that he did not pursue a civil service career after graduating with a degree in environmental studies was not a waste, because the environmental studies gave him knowledge to apply in livestock farming, which he applied in arranging barns, food...

That is why his chickens are always healthy and growing well, and it is also thanks to the application of the clean farming model that his livestock products are favored by consumers. Especially now when the Ho Chi Minh trail is frequented by vehicles every day, not to mention the sunflower season is an opportunity for tourists to come and enjoy the beautiful scenery, as well as enjoy the clean specialties of the local people.

Thanks to the effectiveness of the model, many young people in the area have come to learn and follow it, and Anh is not afraid to share her experience. Regarding future plans, Anh said she will expand the scale of the farm, increasing the total herd to 1,300 broilers and 300 laying hens.
