Nearly 90-year-old Nghe An man caught in illegal drug trafficking
(Baonghean.vn) - Despite his old age, Luong Pho Xo still regularly brings drugs from Laos to retail to addicts in the area.
On August 15, Ky Son District Police caught Mr. Luong Pho Xo (born in 1932), residing in Huoi Le village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, in the act of illegally buying and selling drugs.

Previously, through the process of gathering information as well as feedback from the people, Ky Son District Police determined that Luong Pho Xo often gathered drug addicts to retail drugs, causing disorder in the area. Realizing the need to quickly eliminate this complicated gathering place, Ky Son District Police deployed an ambush and caught him red-handed. The seized evidence included 80 pink tablets (suspected to be synthetic drugs) hidden in many locations in the house.
Currently, Ky Son District Police are completing the documents to handle according to regulations.
