(Baonghean.vn) - Feedback from voters from many localities in the province showed that they were quite satisfied with the quality of the question and answer session on the afternoon of July 11, revolving around two contents: child care and protection and land management within the framework of the 9th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council.

Mrs. Le Thi Huong

Voter Le Thi Huong, Lien Thang block, Hoa Hieu ward (Thai Hoa town): Right on the heart of the issues voters are concerned about

Through following the 9th session of the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVII, 2016 - 2021, I saw that issues in all fields were discussed in a comprehensive manner, in accordance with the wishes of voters; questions were focused on the issues that voters were concerned about. Personally, I found that the questions raised by the delegates related to the areas of life and society were very close to the actual situation in the locality in the current period.

During the question and answer session, I was particularly concerned about the issue of child protection, care and education. Therefore, in addition to pointing out the existing problems, the People's Council delegates need to have specific solutions for each locality and immediately start protecting, caring for and educating children in the current period.

I see that the work of protecting, caring for and educating children in recent times still has some limitations such as: Awareness of the role and position of children as well as the role and responsibility of adults and society in protecting, caring for and educating children in some places is not high; Coordination between departments, branches, associations and organizations is not yet synchronous, so the detection and prevention of violations of the law and the implementation of policies for children are sometimes and in some places not timely; Playgrounds and forms of entertainment suitable for children are still lacking; Social resources for the cause of caring for, educating and protecting children have not met the requirements; Children in special circumstances and children at risk of vulnerability still have difficulty in accessing services; Inspection, examination and supervision of the implementation of policies and laws for children are not regular, causing difficulties in detecting and preventing violations of the law against children.

I propose that the delegates of the 17th Provincial People's Council need to strengthen specific solutions and practical activities to mobilize the active participation of all levels and sectors from the province to the grassroots and the whole society, continue to participate in the implementation of child protection and care for a safe life, prevent accidents and injuries for children; Strengthen inspection, supervision, and guidance on the implementation of laws and policies on child protection, care and implementation of children's rights at the local level, especially at the grassroots level; Organize well cultural, recreational, sports and child care activities during the Month of Action for Children; activities on the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1), Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year, Vietnamese Family Day, Opening of the new school year, etc. to create opportunities and favorable conditions for children to proactively participate in care and education activities.

Voter Luong Manh Hung

Voter Luong Manh Hung - Ban To, Yen Khe commune (Con Cuong): Help people understand the tricks of human traffickers to prevent them.

The most pressing issue for the people is the fraud of sending people to China and neighboring countries. Local authorities and organizations must intervene to educate and disseminate information to the people so that they can understand the law and grasp the tricks of the fraudsters to avoid it. Cases of child trafficking and human trafficking to China and neighboring countries need to be dealt with more strictly.

After watching the question and answer session, we, the voters, strongly agree with the contents raised for questioning at the meeting as well as the high sense of responsibility of the delegates assigned to answer the delegates' questions. As heads of sectors, many delegates also promised before the meeting that they would be determined to handle and minimize the consequences of the two questions. The opinions raised for questioning at the meeting were all close to the actual situation in the localities and heated up the parliament.

Although specific explanations have been given and solutions for the coming time have been proposed, voters still cannot stop worrying and worrying about State management of the land sector. I think the most concerning issue is that all levels and sectors need to strengthen State management of the land sector. Because land is a valuable asset, land violations have occurred a lot in the province in the past. People are very upset and hope that the province will strengthen inspection and strict handling to regain people's trust.

Voter Lang Thi Loan, Can village, Chau Binh commune (Quy Chau): Pay more attention to forest and forest land management

Voter Lang Thi Loan

As voters of Quy Chau district, a locality where many issues in the field of land and environment have recently emerged, we are also very interested in following the questions and answers of the provincial People's Council delegates at this session. Although Quy Chau is very rich in forest resources, the exploitation of the potential and benefits from the forest are still limited, so people's lives are still poor, especially the lack of land for production. Through following the questions and answers, I see that the provincial People's Council delegates' answers are very close to reality, basically meeting the expectations of our voters and I also hope that in the coming time, all levels will pay more attention to the management of forests and forest land so that we can rely on forest resources for economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction.
