(Baonghean.vn) - The issue that voters of Quy Chau district are interested in reporting to National Assembly delegates is related to the allocation of funds to implement poverty reduction programs, socio-economic development in particularly difficult areas, and the slow funding for forest protection and conservation.

On the afternoon of October 5, at Chau Hanh commune, delegatesNational Assembly: Dang Xuan Phuong - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education; Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security had a meeting with voters of 12 communes and towns: Chau Hanh, Chau Binh, Chau Hoi, Chau Nga, Chau Thang, Chau Tien, Chau Binh, Chau Thuan, Chau Phong, Chau Hoan, Dien Lam and Tan Lac town.

At the meetingvoters, National Assembly delegate Dang Xuan Phuong - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education announced the expected content and program of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly and the activities of the provincial National Assembly delegation before the session.

The session is scheduled to open on October 20. At the session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 7 draft laws, 3 resolutions and decide on many important issues of the country, personnel work within its authority; and give opinions on 7 draft laws.

In the spirit of democracy, voters frankly reflected, recommended and proposed many issues under the authority of the National Assembly, Government and localities.

Voter Vo Thai Tinh (Chairman of Tan Lac Town People's Committee) reflected on the regulation of the number of cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers at the commune level according to Decree No. 34 of the Government and the regulation of the number of civil servants according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee with positions of only 1 person, affecting the completion of tasks. This voter requested the Central Government and the province to study and amend the above two policies; at the same time, pay attention to raising the allowance regime for non-professional workers in blocks, hamlets, villages and hamlets.

Voter Vo Thai Tinh also proposed that the National Assembly study and amend the current Land Law, including regulations on licensing activities for exploiting land for common materials, such as land for leveling and renovating gardens and houses, which are still inadequate in practice; or regulations on procedures for granting land use right certificates in cases of donation or gifting, which still cause difficulties for people.

Voter Vi The Long (Chairman of Chau Hanh Commune People's Committee) reflected that the criteria for assessing and identifying poor households are not suitable; the allocation of public investment capital under the National Target Program on Poverty Reduction and Socio-economic Development in Extremely Difficult Areas, and the budget for forest protection and conservation in 2020 and 2021 are slow; he requested that all levels pay attention to resolving these issues.

Some voters recommended that all levels have policies to support the preservation and promotion of the cultural identities of ethnic minorities; pay attention to granting land for production to people; and provide social protection...

Some voters also suggested changing the term of election of block and hamlet chiefs from the current 2.5 years to 5 years, ensuring stability of people working in villages and hamlets, while also being consistent with the term of the People's Council, because hamlet and hamlet chiefs are often associated with the People's Council delegates at the commune level.

Some issues related to the preschool teacher regime, village health care; handling overloaded vehicles... were also reflected and recommended by voters.

Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; and leaders of Quy Chau district received and explained specifically each issue under their authority.

At the end of the meeting with voters, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security thanked voters for their frankness and responsibility, reflecting many shortcomings and difficulties in practice; affirmed the responsibility of National Assembly deputies to absorb and synthesize and send to all levels for research and resolution.

National Assembly Delegate Tran Duc Thuan directly explained a number of issues related to the payroll and the policy of streamlining the payroll of the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government, and hoped that all levels, in the context of streamlining the payroll, should proactively arrange and improve the quality of cadres, promote the application of information technology, and ensure effective operations.
