Voters of Tan Ky district reflect the slow issuance of land use right certificates, people have to go back and forth many times.

On the afternoon of December 3, the XV National Assembly Delegate elected in Constituency No. 2 of Nghe An province had a meeting with voters of Giai Xuan commune, Tan Ky district after the 8th Session of the XV National Assembly.

Meeting voters were National Assembly deputies: Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee, along with representatives of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Ky district and representatives of relevant departments and branches.

At the conference, National Assembly Delegate Vi Van Son informed voters about the important results of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly as well as the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the session.

Delegates of Tan Ky District People's Council also reported on the expected content of the regular meeting program at the end of 2024; summarized the socio-economic situation of the district in 2024, key tasks and solutions in 2025 and the results of resolving voters' recommendations raised before and after the 12th session of the District People's Council.

With a spirit of democracy, frankness and responsibility, voters of Giai Xuan commune, Tan Ky district proposed 3 groups of issues, with 8 opinions related to the fields: traffic, construction, land, minerals, regimes and policies.

Voters in Van Long hamlet, Giai Xuan commune, requested the State to pay attention to allocating capital to upgrade and expand inter-commune and inter-hamlet roads. Voters also requested that authorities pay attention to and support capital for hamlets to build advanced new rural areas.

Voters in Quyet Tam hamlet reported that the current work of granting land use right certificates to people is still slow, with too many procedures, and people have to go back and forth many times, causing waste of time and money.

Voters in Nuoc Xanh hamlet hope that the State will support upgrading lakes and dams to ensure irrigation water for production; there should be additional support mechanisms to build hamlet cultural houses after the merger.

Voters of Giai Xuan commune also proposed to adjust the age of the militia force from 18 to 50 years old for men and from 18 to 45 years old for women.

After listening to voters' petitions, leaders of Giai Xuan Commune People's Committee and Tan Ky District People's Committee directly explained a number of issues under their authority.

On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, Mr. Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security respectfully thanked the sentiments and dedicated and responsible opinions of the voters of Giai Xuan commune. At the same time, he answered and clarified some opinions of the voters according to his authority. Regarding opinions under the authority of higher levels, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province received, synthesized and transferred to relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
