Voters in Nghia Dan suggest the need for transparency in land procedures

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 29, the National Assembly Delegation of the province met with voters in Nghia Hung commune, Nghia Dan district before the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly.

National Assembly deputies from constituency No. 2 include Mr. Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee. Also attending were representatives of the leaders of Nghia Dan district, Nghia Hung commune and a large number of voters.

At the conference, delegate Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security informed voters about the expected content of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly, taking place from October 23 to November 29, 2023. Accordingly, the National Assembly will pass 9 draft laws, 2 draft resolutions, and give opinions on 8 other draft laws; at the same time, consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the state budget and supervise other important issues.

At the conference, there were 18 opinions and recommendations from voters, with many contents related to issues of traffic infrastructure, policies, job creation, etc.

Voter Le Thi Thu (Gang hamlet, Nghia Hung commune) said that currently in the commune there are many people of working age who are unemployed, so people hope to soon receive attention and arrange jobs to help people stabilize their lives.

At the conference, many opinions raised a number of issues that may arise after the merger of the three communes of Nghia Hung, Nghia Hieu, and Nghia Thinh, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024. Voter Pham Ngoc Hong reflected that the current system of cultural houses is cramped, cultural institutions are degraded, so he hopes that in the near future, this project will soon receive attention and investment.

The issue of rural transportation was also mentioned by many voters at the conference. Comrade Dinh The Hien - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Hung commune said that currently, the traffic roads in the commune are still facing many difficulties, especially on National Highway 48E from Hieu Bridge through Nghia Thinh commune, there is a 200m section of road that is flooded during the rainy season, affecting people's travel. Therefore, on behalf of local people, Mr. Hien hopes that in the coming time, this road section will be invested in and upgraded, creating favorable conditions for people to travel and exchange goods.

Voter Van Thi Hong Lam - Head of the Health Department of Nghia Dan district said that according to Resolution No. 99/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly, before July 2025, district-level health centers will be unified under the People's Committee of the district level. However, up to now, localities have not received specific instructions, so voters suggested that there should be an early guidance document so that localities can have a plan to implement this content.

At the conference, many voters also suggested that land procedures should be public and transparent, and that land officials should provide clear guidance to the people to avoid the phenomenon of brokers taking advantage of harassment. In addition, voters also wanted to be better explained about the revised Land Law as well as how it should be applied to each locality.

In addition, many opinions related to the regime for the elderly, people with revolutionary contributions, ethnic minorities, insurance regime for veterans, etc. were also sent by voters to National Assembly delegates.

After listening to voters' opinions, representatives of Nghia Dan district, Nghia Hung commune, and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs discussed and answered a number of issues within their authority that voters reflected.
