Nghia Dan voters: Pay attention to solving jobs for rural workers

(Baonghean.vn) - Reflecting to the provincial People's Council delegates, voters of Nghia Dan district recommended that the government pay attention to creating mechanisms and policies to create jobs for rural workers.

At the voter meeting, many voters expressed their opinions to the provincial People's Council delegates regarding the socio-economic and people's livelihood fields. Voter Nguyen Cong Trai, a voter from U hamlet, Nghia Thang commune, suggested: The policy of supporting housing construction for meritorious people has been implemented for many years but has not been implemented yet. "We hope that the policy will soon come into reality to promptly support the people" - Mr. Trai suggested.

Referring to agricultural, farmer and rural policies, voter Nguyen Van Bay, Nghia Thang commune expressed his appreciation for the province's attention to agriculture, farmers and rural areas through the draft support mechanism and policies that will be approved by the Provincial People's Council at the upcoming session.

In addition, voters want the government to continue to pay attention to agriculture, farmers and rural areas, especially for communes in difficult areas. Specifically, when changing the crop structure, the government needs to orient the output for farmers, avoiding the scenario of good harvest but low prices, good prices but bad harvest.

"At the same time, the state pays attention to vocational training, labor export, and job creation for rural workers to escape poverty sustainably," said Mr. Bay.

Regarding the policy of reclaiming agricultural land to implement projects, voter Nguyen Xuan Quy, Nghia Hieu commune, reflected that the land reclaiming for the TH Milk Food Company project has led to a lack of stable jobs for people in the commune. He suggested that the government should have a policy of creating jobs for workers after land reclaiming.

Also at the conference, voters of Nghia Dan district requested that the state should rectify the situation of extra teaching; the situation of taking advantage of health insurance for personal gain; the need to strengthen state management of land prices to stabilize the real estate market; resolve the regime of frontline workers; increase the regime of police allowances in villages and communes; degraded inter-commune roads...

The recommendations and proposals of voters of Nghia Dan district to the provincial People's Council delegates were received, explained and clarified by the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai and the leaders of Nghia Dan district.

Previously, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegates at Nghia Dan constituency, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai informed voters about the expected content and agenda of the 5th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council; reported on the results of the province's socio-economic development in 2017; and the results of handling voters' petitions before the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council.

Ms. Phan Thi Hoan approved the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council to seek voters' opinions on policies to support agricultural and rural development; Draft Resolution on the school milk project in Nghe An province, period 2018-2020; subsidy levels for medical examination and treatment not covered by health insurance; expenditure norms and funding for social supervision and criticism activities in the province.
