Tan Ky voters propose to repair and upgrade Tap Ma reservoir

According to the report of the Tan Ky District Construction Investment Project Management Board: The Project to Repair and Upgrade Tap Ma Reservoir, Nghia Phuc Commune, Tan Ky District was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for its Technical Economic Report in Decision No. 7462/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2014 of the Provincial People's Committee; with the District People's Committee as the investor, with a total investment of 11 billion 995 million VND.

The goal is to provide stable irrigation water for 50 hectares of double-crop rice and domestic water for people in Nghia Phuc commune.

The project is divided into 2 packages: Package 1 is to reinforce the earth dam and water intake culvert under the dam; Package 2 is to reinforce the spillway and canals, and works on the canal; construction started on November 14, 2017.

- Package No. 1 has just been allocated 2 billion VND in capital. The construction of the earth dam including embankment and upstream slope reinforcement has not been completed yet and is temporarily suspended due to lack of funds.

- In 2022, the Provincial People's Committee will allocate a budget of 3.5 billion VND to continue implementing the project (Decision No. 288/QD-UBND dated January 27, 2022 on increasing the provincial budget revenue in 2020 and the remaining compensation for site clearance in 2020 and the Hanoi city budget to support Nghe An province).

Currently, the Tan Ky District Investment and Construction Project Management Board is adjusting, re-approving the estimate and conducting bidding for Package No. 2 of the spillway and canal, and works on the canal./.
