The project "Lan Chau - Song Ngu Eco-tourism, Resort Villas, Sports, Entertainment Complex" (abbreviated as Lan Chau - Song Ngu Tourism Complex) was licensed by the Provincial People's Committee to Song Ngu Son Joint Stock Company for investment, construction and exploitation. The project is planned on 3 land plots in Cua Lo town, including: Lan Chau island area with an area of: 6.36ha of mainland; 8.52ha of sea surface; Nghi Hoa land area with an area of: 11.58ha of mainland; 1.45ha of sea surface; Ngu island area with an area of: 50.5ha of island land; 35.78ha of sea surface. The total land and sea area of the project is nearly 130ha, the total investment for the project is nearly 1,800 billion VND.

According to the investor's calculations, the project is expected to welcome about 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 tourists each year, of which about 500,000 will stay overnight. The effective exploitation of the "Lan Chau - Song Ngu Tourism Complex" project will bring many economic and social benefits, create jobs for thousands of local people, contribute to improving the situation of short-term "summer tourism", and extend Cua Lo tourism activities all year round.
The project aims to exploit the potential and advantages of Cua Lo's sea tourism, promote the development of infrastructure in the project area, attract domestic and international tourists to Cua Lo, promote the promotion of local landscapes, create stable jobs for a part of the population in the area, contribute to the state budget, and develop the socio-economy.
