Cua Lo inspects and reviews land management work
(Baonghean.vn) - In the regular meeting in May, the Standing Committee of Cua Lo City Party Committee listened to and gave opinions on land management in the area.
On the morning of May 26, comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc attended the regular May meeting of the Standing Committee.Cua Lo Town Party Committee. At this meeting, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee listened to and gave opinions on a number of important contents on ensuring the quality of tourist accommodation establishments and restaurants in Cua Lo town in the period of 2021 - 2025; Land use plan in the town; implementation of Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".
Regarding the content of the land use plan in the town, after review, Cua Lo has 319 unused flat land plots with a total area of more than 68 hectares, of which 18 plots have built fences, the remaining 301 plots are vacant land, unused.
Some wards have not managed land funds well, and people have encroached on them. There is a situation of land borrowing and leasing without proper authority in Nghi Tan ward. Particularly for 5% public land, Cua Lo town has 480 plots with more than 18 hectares in 03 agricultural wards: Nghi Hoa, Nghi Huong, Nghi Thu; most of them are located in residential areas which are not favorable for agricultural production...

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc highly appreciated the opinion of the Standing Committee of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee on land management. This is a very important issue, each locality must comply with the Land Law to implement. Cua Lo also needs to base on the functional zoning plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee, on that basis, have solutions to improve the efficiency of land use in the area.
