(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 14, Cua Lo Town held a conference to review the grassroots democracy regulations in 2015 and deploy tasks for 2016.

Overview of the conference

In 2015, the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations in the area had positive changes, the sense of responsibility of civil servants and public employees in performing public duties was raised, and the people's mastery was promoted.

During the year, the Town received 88 people, received 77 petitions with 62 cases, and resolved 100%. In particular, it did a good job of collecting feedback on the draft project "Adjusting the pilot project of operating 4-wheel electric vehicles to serve tourists in the Town"... At the conference, delegates discussed and proposed many new ways to implement QCDC in localities, agencies, units...; continued to direct the building of bright spots in implementing grassroots democracy regulations, government mobilization work associated with building models, typical examples of "Skilled mass mobilization".

Town leaders awarded certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing grassroots QCDC.

On this occasion, 6 collectives and 6 individuals were commended by the Chairman of the Town People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in 2015.
