Cua Lo organizes traditional boat racing tournament in 2014

(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the program of activities to welcome the tourism year "Binh Minh Cua Lo" 2014 and to celebrate 20 years of Cua Lo town's construction and development (August 29, 1994 - August 29, 2014).

On the morning of May 2nd at Binh Minh Square, the People's Committee of Cua Lo town organized the opening ceremony of the 2014 traditional rowing tournament. This year's tournament had 8 teams and more than 200 athletes from 7 wards of Cua Lo town and Hung Loi commune team of Hung Nguyen district.

With the encouragement of many people and tourists from all over, after 3 exciting and attractive races. The results of the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize of 5,000,000 VND to Nghi Hoa ward team, the second prize of 4,000,000 VND to Nghi Tan team, and the third prize of 3,000,000 VND to Hung Loi commune team (Hung Nguyen).
