Political Department of Military Region 4 hands over comrades' house

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 12, at Hamlet 4, Hung Chinh Commune, Vinh City, the Political Department of Military Region 4 organized the handover of "Comrades' House" to Senior Lieutenant Ho Quoc Viet, reporter of Military Region 4 Newspaper.

Senior Lieutenant Ho Quoc Viet has a difficult family situation, his wife and children live far away, his low income does not allow him to build a house, stabilize his life, and feel secure at work.

Authorized by the head of the Military Region's Political Department, Colonel Phan Thanh Hai, Editor-in-Chief of Military Region 4 Newspaper and Lieutenant Colonel Ho Si Manh, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Department, presented gifts to the family of Senior Lieutenant Ho Quoc Viet.

After more than 4 months of construction, the house was completed with an area of ​​150 m2 with the support of 70 million VND from the "Comradely Love" fund of the Ministry of National Defense, the rest was contributed by the family. This is an activity demonstrating the concern of the Party, State, and Army in creating housing conditions, helping families of officers and soldiers to reduce difficulties in life, and strive to rise up. At the same time, it is a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2016); 72nd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2016; 27th anniversary of National Defense Day December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2016).

At the handover ceremony, the Military Region Political Department presented comrade Ho Quoc Viet's family with a 32-inch TV; the Military Region Newspaper presented a TV shelf.
