General Department II's Political Department presents '100 Dong House' in Nghi Loc

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on the morning of July 23, the Political Department of General Department II (Ministry of National Defense) held a ceremony to present the "100 Dong House" to Mrs. Bui Thi Huynh in Ban hamlet, Nghi Thiet commune (Nghi Loc).

Mrs. Bui Thi Huynh is the mother of Martyr Nguyen Van Niem, who died in 1978 at the Southwest Front. Her deceased husband previously participated in shipbuilding for the Central Unification Committee, under General Department II. Currently, Mrs. Huynh is old and in poor health, living with her grandson.

Cutting the ribbon to inaugurate and hand over the "100 Dong House" to Mrs. Bui Thi Huynh.

The "100 Dong House" given to Mr. Huynh has a total area of ​​over 100m2.². Of the cost of building the house, 70 million VND was supported by General Department II, taken from the savings practice of officers, employees and soldiers. In which, the youth force is the core, each person saves 100 VND/day.

Along with presenting the "100 Dong House", General Department II also presented Mr. Huynh with a savings book of 3 million Dong; the Political, Youth and Women's Departments of General Department II presented many items for daily life.
