Customs Department presents gifts to Hien Luong Protection Facility

(Baonghean.vn) -On January 24, 2014, Nghe An Customs Department organized a gift giving ceremony for Hien Luong Protection Facility in Tho Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh.

Currently, Hien Luong Protection Center is taking care of 30 disabled and orphaned children, with 6 teachers taking care of and educating them. Mr. Ta Duy Sau, the director of the center, experienced a stormy childhood with difficult circumstances not unlike the children here. Growing up, sympathizing with similar circumstances, he established the center to take care of and bring them a better life than he had experienced.

The delegation gave Tet gifts and visited children being cared for at the facility.

After asking about the health and accommodation of the children, the delegation encouraged them to overcome their difficult circumstances and strive to improve their lives, hoping that they would have a prosperous and warm Tet holiday. The children of the Center were also moved to receive gifts from the Customs Youth Union and promised to try to study well and be obedient, not to disappoint the love and trust of the community in general and the Customs Youth Union in particular. The total value of money and gifts is 7,200,000 VND. This amount was contributed by the Youth Union members of Nghe An Customs Department.
