(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of January 30th, the Civil Enforcement Department held a meeting to launch its civil enforcement work plan for 2013. Attending the meeting were Mr. Thai Van Hang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives from several provincial departments and agencies, and representatives from all civil enforcement branches throughout the province.

In 2012, despite facing many difficulties, the Civil Enforcement Department of the province closely followed the work plan and strived to complete the assigned targets. The results of enforcement were the highest ever and highly sustainable, with the number of cases carried over to the next period decreasing by nearly 1,000. The work of verifying and classifying cases into those eligible and those not eligible was given attention and implemented promptly and accurately. Several major cases were successfully resolved. In the year, the number of enforcement cases was 14,291, a decrease of 788 cases compared to 2011. 9,700 cases were completed, achieving a rate of 94.78%. The amount of money collected through enforcement was 69 billion 391 million VND, reaching over 81%. Most units met the targets set by the provincial enforcement department. The work of receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations became more systematic. In 2013, the task of enforcing judgments will continue to be strengthened. Exceeding the targets set by the General Department of Enforcement; proposing comprehensive solutions and striving to reduce the number of uncompleted enforcement cases from 2013 carried over to 2014 by 7% to 10%.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Thai Van Hang acknowledged the efforts of the province's Civil Enforcement Department over the past year; and at the same time directed the department to overcome some shortcomings in order to successfully achieve the targets for civil enforcement work in 2013.

On this occasion, one individual was awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal, three collectives and four individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, and four collectives and fifteen individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Justice.
