Nghe An Tax Department reduces tax filing time by 370 hours per year.

(Baonghean.vn) – According to a report by the Nghe An Tax Department, in implementing administrative reforms and streamlining procedures related to tax payment for taxpayers, in 2014, after implementing the State's administrative procedure reform solutions, the number of hours taxpayers spend complying with tax regulations decreased by 370 hours/year (from 537 hours to 167 hours).

In the first six months of 2015, the Tax Department continued its review to further reduce processing time by 45.5 hours, aiming to achieve the target of 121.5 hours per year as directed by the Government in Resolution No. 19/NQ-CP dated March 12, 2015. The Nghe An Tax Department strengthened its efforts in disseminating information and supporting taxpayers in implementing tax laws and administrative procedures. As a result, the majority of businesses in Nghe An province have proactively declared, calculated, and paid taxes correctly, fully, and promptly according to regulations to the State budget. To date, over 80% of businesses in the province regularly exchange information with the tax authorities online.
