Stealing dogs with his brother and selling them to... his mother-in-law
Two brothers, Ca and Quan, used motorbikes with electric shockers to go around the area to steal dogs. There were nights when they caught up to 15 dogs, then brought them back to sell to Ca's mother-in-law for spending money.

On the afternoon of December 25, information from Cam Xuyen District Police, Ha Tinh Province said that they had just broken up the "TC1218" case, arresting two brothers Nguyen Van Ca (born 1991) and Nguyen Van Quan (born 1988), residing in Cam Quang Commune, Cam Xuyen District, for stealing hundreds of dogs.
Recently, in Cam Xuyen district as well as neighboring areas, there have been consecutive dog theft cases causing much public outrage and disrupting security and order at the grassroots level.
After a period of time to grasp the situation, at about 1:00 a.m. on December 23, 2018, detectives suddenly raided Minh Chau Pho restaurant in Cam Quang commune (Cam Xuyen district) and caught two subjects Nguyen Van Ca and Tran Thi Chau (born in 1968, residing in Cam Quang commune, Cam Xuyen) in the act of buying and selling dogs from stolen sources; confiscated at the scene 4 live dogs weighing 50kg, 1 motorbike with an electric shocker used to catch dogs, 1 homemade sword, 1 iron pipe, 5 sacks.
At the investigation agency, Ca confessed that he and his brother Nguyen Van Quan used motorbikes to travel throughout Cam Xuyen district and neighboring areas to catch dog thieves.
On average, they catch 6-8 dogs each night, with the most being 15. From October 2018 to now, these two subjects have successfully carried out dozens of thefts, catching hundreds of dogs.
After stealing the dogs, they brought them back to sell to Mrs. Tran Thi Chau (Ca's mother-in-law) for 800,000 to 1 million VND each.
The case is currently being further investigated by the authorities.
