Two companies were fined 170 million VND for providing online games without a license.
For violating regulations in providing online G1 electronic game services, Minh Chau Entertainment Joint Stock Company and Vinh Xuan Online Services Joint Stock Company were each fined 85 million VND by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Information and Communications has just issued two decisions imposing administrative penalties on two online gaming service providers for operating without a license from the state management agency.

Specifically, according to Decision No. 28/QD-XPVPHC dated April 6, 2016, Minh Chau Entertainment Joint Stock Company (address: Room 301, 3rd floor, Hacinco Sports Hotel, Nhan Chinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi) was fined for providing the games "League of Legends", "Six Great Martial Arts", "Continent of Gods and Demons", "Three Kingdoms", and "Sword Quest" without permission through its website http://mc-corp.vn.
According to Decision No. 30/QD-XPVPHC dated April 7, 2016, Vinh Xuan Online Services Joint Stock Company (address: 69 Tran Quang Dieu Street, O Cho Dua Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi) was fined for providing the games "Tu Dai Hoang Chien", "Linh Vuong Truyen Ky", "Manga Heroes", "Thien Long Truyen Ky, Than Tien Dao" without permission through the website http://slg.vn.
Each company was fined 85 million VND, based on Clause 5, Article 67 of Government Decree 174/2013/ND-CP dated November 13, 2013, which stipulates administrative penalties for violations in the fields of postal services, telecommunications, information technology, and radio frequencies.
