Friendly meeting of Bishop of Vinh Diocese Alphonso Nguyen Huu Long with leaders of Anh Son district
(Baonghean.vn) - In an atmosphere of solidarity and friendship, Bishop Alphonso Nguyen Huu Long hopes that Catholics in the area will unite, stick together, and accompany the Party Committee, government, and people of Anh Son district.
On the morning of September 19, 2019, Bishop of Vinh Diocese Alphonso Nguyen Huu Long, together with the parish priest of Lang Dien and members of the delegation had a friendly meeting with the leaders of Anh Son district and district-level departments and organizations.

At the meeting, in a friendly and open atmosphere, Bishop Alphonso Nguyen Huu Long and leaders of Anh Son district discussed socio-economic issues, people's lives in general and parishioners in particular in the district.
The leaders of Anh Son district acknowledged the contributions and joint efforts of Catholics in the area for local development, especially in building new rural areas and implementing the policies of the Party and State.

The Party Committee and the government of Anh Son district always recognize that parishes, congregations and parishioners are an inseparable part of the development of the district. The district leaders hope that parishes and congregations will continue to build and strengthen the relationship of solidarity, closeness, sharing and responsibility between the Catholic Church and the Party Committees and governments at all levels in the area; lead Catholics to live the gospel in the heart of the nation, to live a good life and a good religion; and accompany the Party Committee and the district government to build their homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
