President Putin's big press conference sets record first
About 1,390 journalists have registered to attend Russian President Vladimir Putin's major press conference on December 17.

TASS news agency quoted the Kremlin as saying that the number of press representatives set a new record. For example, at Mr. Putin's first press conference in 2001, more than 500 journalists registered. In 2002 and 2003, there were more than 700. In 2004, there were 750. In 2007, there were 1,132. In 2008, there were 1,364. In 2013, there were 1,327 and in 2014, there were 1,259.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin press service has not yet announced the location of the head of state's press conference to reporters. "Information about the location and order of the event will be communicated to journalists via email," the Kremlin said.
