The "escape" of those who have strayed into evil ways
"I and about 10 of my schoolmates were invited to a house in the city. They fed us food they cooked and gave us a red liquid."
They consider themselves as lost people. They were once devout followers of the so-called Mother God, but later they woke up to the deception of the shady and sick organization that disguised itself as religion. After many efforts to overcome and “escape” from that monstrous doctrine, they returned to their families and society to expose this heresy and help the victims and their families to bring their loved ones back.
Young teacher escapes trap
We met a young teacher named Nguyen TH (22 years old) at a primary school in Thuy Nguyen, Hai Phong. She is one of the lucky ones who escaped the lure of a propaganda group about the “Church of God” while studying at Bac Ninh Pedagogical College.
TH shared: “Around June 2017, I was in my final year at school. In the evenings, my female classmates and I often went to Nguyen Van Cu Park in Bac Ninh City to play. There, some people (women around 25 to 30 years old) came to get to know each other. They cleverly learned about each person's family background, and when they knew which friends had a little bit of money, they asked for their phone numbers. Then they contacted them, invited them to eat, go out, do charity work... and told them to buy whatever they liked (for example, clothes, cosmetics)...
I and about 10 of my classmates were invited to a house in the city. Here, they fed us food cooked by them, and also gave us a red liquid that they said would protect us from God if we drank it. Many of my classmates drank it, but I found it strange so I didn’t drink it. After drinking this liquid, all of my classmates became numb, their eyes were red, their minds were not as clear as before, and when they returned to the dormitory, they were still like that. Many classmates teased us and called us “like being possessed by a ghost”.
After drinking the water, a man who called himself “the group leader” with a southern accent told me to sit with my hands clasped, cover my head with a towel, and listen to a sermon about the doctrine of the “Church of God”. Because I did not drink the “red” water, during the entire 2 hours of listening to the sermon, this man kept looking straight into my eyes, making me feel attracted, sometimes even losing my balance.
After about 10 lectures with strange content, that people are not born from their parents, life and death are decided by God... I suddenly felt scared and stopped participating. After that, I was constantly called every day to urge me to "attend activities" but I refused to go. As for those who drank the "red" water, they followed regularly. Even while they were studying, if they received a phone call, they would stand up and leave immediately.

After finishing school, I returned to Hai Phong but still received constant phone calls from the Group Leader and friends who followed this “Church”. I was forced to block and change my phone number continuously. Currently, as far as I know, more than 10 of my friends have dropped out of school, not returning home but following that “Church”. Many of them even abandoned their lovers. Right now in my locality, there are many people who are so infatuated that they leave their homes and parents to follow...
Because I have known about the harm of the "Church of God", I would like to warn everyone, especially students, to be careful not to be drawn into this evil religion, which will ruin their studies and lead to the destruction of family happiness.
Escape
Tran Hoai N, a young man from Hanoi, had just graduated from university and had a fairly stable job. After a friend's persuasion, N agreed to try listening to the teachings of Mother God. After teaching 10 lessons, they let N do "baptism" - a ritual (sprinkling with water, eating the holy bread and drinking wine).
At first, no one said that they would have to pay 1/10 of their monthly income. It was only when N had absorbed that strange doctrine that they made that request and it was easily accepted.
N said: “I was also opposed and threatened by my family. But I believed that God the Mother would protect me, so I ignored all advice. After a year, I left home, my boyfriend, my job, and devoted myself to preaching. For nearly 2 years, I also “borne fruit” (that is, gathered more followers) - quite a bit. However, after the times the end of the world was delayed, or the conflicts in their interpretation of the Bible, I had to think.
Although the church teaches that the Internet is a product of the devil, and that women should not read it, and even forbids women from accessing the Internet, I still actively researched it online. There is a lot of information (written in English) about those who oppose it, including many relatives of the victims. I am fluent in foreign languages, so I can read it and spend a lot of time thinking about it. I came to a conclusion about the deviations in the church's teachings, and from there I can see their tricks."
According to N, religious groups like this in the world are called “Cult”. There are many articles on the internet analyzing the psychology and ways to rescue victims. So from then on, N actively translated the articles and posted them on the Facebook page “Cult - Cult of Mother God”.
N's published articles are titled: "The ridiculousness of how the Church of God the Mother promotes the Queen's Award", "Why is it so difficult for members to leave the Church of God the Mother?"... Recently, there was an analysis to help readers realize that when the situation in North Korea was less tense (missionaries used the risk of war due to North Korea to talk about the end of the world), the deacons took advantage of the war in Syria.
N wrote: “It seems that they are very eager for negative news every day, hoping that the world will be destroyed so that they can quickly “have fun and dance” forever in heaven. And they forget that there is still daily life, there is still the future and the whole family is waiting, waiting, and taking care of them.”
N said that after leaving the group, N was always being held back. When he could not hold back, he was threatened that N had betrayed God, that he would die a tragic death, meet with disaster, fall into a pit of fire... These words were very effective on those who were discouraged about the group, making them afraid and not daring to leave. To get rid of this group, N had to go to Ho Chi Minh City to find a job, change his phone number...
A victim who is a Catholic, a university student in Thai Nguyen, also escaped from this evil world and shared his story in the hope that everyone will have information to prevent and avoid falling into the trap.
She said: “At that time, I was a second-year student who still kept my religion and attended Sunday Mass regularly (I was Catholic). At that time, I had no idea about sects or heresies. But then I met a sister in the same dormitory who preached to me.
She pointed out the errors that Catholics were making, that the Church was not a good organization, and she prophesied what would happen in the future, citing the Bible. I listened attentively, not wise enough to realize that I was being led and enticed into heresy.
Finally, I lost control of my consciousness, accepted and followed what she said. I was baptized by a person called a deacon, had water poured on my head, ate bread and drank wine in a place called Zion - the Church of God (Zion is considered the headquarters of this church - PV).
Since that day, my life changed, I followed heretics to preach, many victims came from Buddhism, Christianity and even atheism... They were like me, listening and believing in this sect unconsciously without knowing that they were joining the army of the devil".
The victims who successfully escaped all concluded that participating in religious activities is a legitimate spiritual need and also a human right. But how to participate properly so as not to affect the normal happy life of the family is what needs to be concerned. The benefits of the Church of God are nowhere to be seen, only the fierce opposition of relatives, family, and friends. Along with that comes the loss of jobs, economic damage, and loss of future.
“This story is a warning to those who are still blindly following the sweet words of the Church of God - a heresy that needs to be eliminated from society because of its evilness” - that is the heartfelt confession of a girl who once went astray. |
