The organizing committee of the "Joining Forces for the Homeland's Seas and Islands" text messaging campaign, comprising the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Television, VTC Digital Television, the Vietnam Red Cross, Tuoi Tre Newspaper of Ho Chi Minh City, and represented by Vietnam Network go.vn, has officially launched a campaign to collect artwork and photographs on the theme "Love for the Country - Homeland - Seas and Islands" to gather works and create a powerful message to encourage the spirit of the military, civilians, and fishermen in the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagos (the campaign will end on July 18, 2014).
By participating in the campaign, each member is entitled to contribute an unlimited number of works, including photographs, paintings/posters, which they themselves have authored, owned, or collected. From the works contributed by the community, a map of Vietnam will be assembled. The map will be digitized, each work will be identified by its coordinates along with the name and message the contributor wishes to send to the soldiers on the islands, and will be permanently stored online.
To acknowledge the contributions of the members, the Organizing Committee will have commemorative gifts for: the top 5 members who submit the most photos, worth 1 million VND each. The top 5 photos that receive the most likes, worth 1 million VND each. In addition, the Organizing Committee will also recognize the contributions of the communities with the most participating members and award prizes on the official fanpage of the campaign - the "Yêu lắm Việt Nam" fanpage.
To participate in the campaign, photographers should log in to the official campaign website at http://go.vn/biendong. Alternatively, you can upload photos to the official Fanpage of the campaign called “Yêu lắm Việt Nam” (I Love Vietnam So Much), and the system will automatically update your photos to the website http://go.vn/biendong.
