Taxi robbery

(Baonghean.vn) –While transporting a passenger, a Mai Linh taxi driver was threatened with scissors by the passenger who then attempted to rob him of his taxi.

The incident occurred at 11:45 AM on May 26th. Mr. Nguyen Ba Luong (born in 1971, residing in Hong Long commune, Nam Dan district) was driving a taxi with license plate 37A - 067.75, carrying a man approximately 35 years old, from Nguyen Van Troi street, Hung Dong commune, Vinh City. Upon reaching Nguyen Truong To street, Hung Dong commune, Vinh City, the suspect threatened Mr. Luong with scissors, robbed him of his mobile phone, and then stole the taxi before abandoning it in Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district.

Currently, the Vinh City Police are conducting an investigation to clarify the matter.
