Bookmaker William Hill has released the latest odds for the teams participating in the 2018-19 Champions League.

In which, Man City is considered the number 1 candidate for the championship title. The odds for the Manchester team are 5.50 (bet 1; win 5.5 times).

Last season, Man City failed to get past the quarter-finals, losing both legs to Liverpool with a total score of 1-5 (0-3, 1-2).

However, in the third season with Pep Guardiola, Citizens are highly appreciated for their stability and very reasonable transfer policy.

Furthermore, the record of 100 points in the Premier League a few months ago is the factor that helps Pep Guardiola's army to be rated the highest.

Behind Man City is Barca, the team that has won the European championship three times in the last 10 years. The Catalan club has odds of 6.50.

Despite owning Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus is not rated too highly. Willian Hill gives the odds of 8.50 for the "Old Lady", equal to PSG.

After losing Ronaldo, Real Madrid is underrated. The odds for the reigning Champions League champions are 9.00.

Meanwhile, internal conflicts and various problems make MU not among the most promising candidates.

Jose Mourinho's MU have odds of 29.00 to win the championship. This odds is the same as Tottenham.

Still the Messi - Ronaldo war?

In the individual race, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo are still the two factors most highly rated in terms of ability to win the Golden Boot.

Messi is at the peak of his form, more comprehensive in many aspects, and the "odds" for him are 5.50.

Ronaldo is behind with a rate of 7.00. After leaving Real Madrid, and at the age of 33 (he will be 34 in the knockout stage), it is understandable that CR7 is a bit behind Messi.
