(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the meeting to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Mau Than Spring 1968 uprising and revisit the old battlefield, the delegation of veterans who fought on the Binh-Tri-Thien battlefield offered flowers at Ho Chi Minh Square.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of Military Region 4 were comrades: Major General Tran Vo Dung - Political Commissar of Military Region 4 Command; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - former Commander of Military Region 4; Major General Vo Van Chot - former Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, Head of the Liaison Committee of War Veterans of Military Region Tri Thien B4 - B5.

On behalf of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, there was comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In front of the statue of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates respectfully offered him a beautiful flower basket, expressing their infinite gratitude and deep respect for the great thoughts and noble life of the genius leader of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and outstanding cultural celebrity.
