Former VTV editor Diep Anh called for help because her Zalo account was impersonated, causing her friends to lose a lot of money from this scam.

Former VTV editor Diep Anh cried and called for help on her personal page because someone impersonated her Zalo account. Diep Anh confirmed that a scammer created an account with her image and sent it to her friends asking them to transfer money for urgent matters. And someone trusted her and transferred tens of millions of dong to an 'anonymous' account.

Diep Anh hopes that if friends receive a request to transfer money, they will call her to check.

"Diep Anh does not use Zalo, but someone is using her name and profile picture, then texting her friends to transfer money to many accounts. Some people have lost tens of millions. Everyone please be careful, I'm so scared, there are all kinds of scams. Currently, this Zalo account has changed its name, please help me with high technology. Please share this so no one else gets scammed," Diep Anh wrote on her personal page.

Editor Diep Anh said that a friend, because he trusted Diep Anh, immediately transferred more than 10 times, each time from 4-5 million VND, into a strange account and as a result, lost 50 million VND.

"When someone texts to ask for a money transfer, remember to call back to check. Social networks now make it very easy to get names and photos, making users not pay attention. Personally, I just hope no one else loses more money and through VietNamNet, I can warn as many people as possible," Diep Anh advised.
