Former SLNA player joins the current First Division runner-up

Luong Van Hung is a player who once trained at SLNA. The striker from Nghia Dan is one of the most promising faces of the 2000-2001 generation, along with Thai Bao Trung, Ho Viet Dai, Tran Quoc Thanh... Luong Van Hung's most impressive achievement in SLNA's youth teams was the championship at the 2013 National U13 tournament.

At the tournament held at the 19/8 Stadium in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa), Luong Van Hung wore the number 10 jersey and played as a center forward. In addition to the championship with U13 SLNA, the player born in 2000 also won the title of “Top scorer”, including 1 goal scored against U13 Viettel 1 in the final match (the goal that sealed the score 2-1).

Unfortunately, in 2016, Luong Van Hung was removed from the SLNA training center by the SLNA Board of Directors. After a period of contact, Luong Van Hung was accepted by the Hanoi T&T Youth Football Training Center. The reward for Luong Van Hung's years of hard work was a position in the squad of Hanoi B Club, now Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club.

Last season, Luong Van Hung was rarely used by coach Pham Minh Duc. This is understandable, because the player who won the title of "Top scorer" at the 2013 National U13 Finals could not compete for a position with talented and experienced teammates such as Pham Tuan Hai, Le Xuan Tu, Tran Duc Nam, Le Van Nam or Trinh Duy Long.
