Veterans of Division 320 offer flowers to report their achievements at Ho Chi Minh Square
On the morning of March 12, at Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Statue, the Liaison Committee of the Delta Brigade - Division 320 held a flower offering ceremony to report to Uncle Ho before departing to return to the old battlefield to offer incense to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Veterans Association; Colonel Nguyen The Tan - Former Commander of Division 320, Head of Liaison Committee of Dong Bang Division, Division 320; Colonel Nguyen Trung Hieu - Commander of Division 320 and more than 200 veterans of the Division.

The 320th Division - Dong Bang Division was established on January 16, 1951 at Mong La Communal House, Yen Quang Commune, Nho Quan District (Ninh Binh). From the very beginning, the Division fought side by side with the people in the enemy's rear "Across the Day River and the Red River". During the resistance war against the French, the Division successfully completed its mission in the Northern Delta, contributing with other forces to the Dien Bien Phu victory.

Enter the resistanceanti-American, save the countryThe Division fought on the battlefields of Quang Tri, Southern Laos, Central Highlands, Zone 5, and the Southeast. In particular, the Division was honored to participate in the Ho Chi Minh campaign, liberating the South and unifying the country (April 30, 1975).
After the liberation of the South, the Division entered a new war, participating in the campaign to protect the southwestern border, the northern border and carrying out international missions, helping the Cambodian people escape the Pol Pot genocide.

With that thickness,Division 320The Division was honored to be twice awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State; awarded 2 Ho Chi Minh Medals; 11 Military Exploit Medals and many other noble awards; and awarded the Angkor Medal by the Cambodian State. In 2021, the Division was awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal by the State.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), veterans of the Traditional Liaison Committee of the Delta Regiment - Division 320 marched back to the old battlefield to review the glorious tradition of our army and people in the resistance war against the US to save the country, protect the border, fulfill international duties, and offer incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs.
Before departure, theveteranDivision 320 would like to offer fresh flowers to express gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. At the same time, we promise to uphold the good tradition, and to unite with the army and people of the whole country to contribute to protecting peace, defending the Fatherland and building the country to be increasingly prosperous.

In this sacred and emotional moment, the veterans respectfully asked Uncle Ho to bless the country with prosperity, the people with happiness, to bless the veterans and delegates with good health and well-being, and to bless the troops returning to the old battlefields with safety and success.
