Former police officer bought heroin and nearly 1,000 ecstasy pills to earn 2 million VND
(Baonghean.vn)- A former police officer, Tho Ba Chai bought 1 heroin cake and nearly 1,000 pink pills to resell. When arrested, Chai said that if he sold these drugs, he would be paid 2 million VND.
Que Phong District Police said that the unit has just arrested Tho Ba Chai (born in 1981), residing in D2 village, Minh Chau, Tri Le commune (Que Phong) for illegally buying and selling drugs.

Accordingly, through monitoring and information gathering on May 25, Tho Ba Chai will conduct a drug exchange. At exactly 12 noon on May 25, a working group of Que Phong District Police ambushed in Ta Pan village, Tri Le commune.
Due to heavy rain, Chai and two strange young men did not appear until 9 p.m. the same day to exchange drugs. While the customer was checking the goods, undercover police swooped in and arrested Chai.
Evidence collected at the scene included 1 heroin cake weighing 360 grams and 5 plastic bags containing 986 synthetic drug pills.
At the investigation agency, Chai confessed that two strange young men had previously offered to buy drugs. Afterwards, Chai met a Laotian named Xong Chia Tho to get the goods to resell to customers. If the sale was successful, Chai would be paid 2 million VND.

It is known that Chai used to be a police officer but was dismissed from the force in 2016 due to failing to meet requirements.
Currently, Que Phong District Police are completing the case file to prosecute Chai for the crime of "Illegal drug trafficking"./.
