Former teacher on the run from 2 wanted warrants arrested

(Baonghean.vn)- Despite having two arrest warrants, a former teacher in Tuong Duong (Nghe An) still trafficked drugs and was arrested with many firearms.

On the morning of December 19, Tuong Duong District Police said they were still detaining Kha Thanh Tai (born in 1976, residing in Cua Rao village, Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong) to complete the prosecution file for the crime of illegal drug trafficking.

Previously, at around 5:00 a.m. on December 17, in the Doc Moi area of ​​Yen Na commune, Tuong Duong district police successfully dismantled Project 118M, arresting Kha Thanh Tai while illegally transporting 5.6 grams of heroin. The police also seized 1 homemade mine, 3 grenades, 1 AK gun with 17 bullets, and 5 homemade guns.

At the investigation agency, Kha Thanh Tai confessed that he bought the drugs from a man he did not know in Laos. Tai used the guns to buy and sell drugs and fight against the authorities when he was arrested.

It is known that Kha Thanh Tai used to be an elementary school teacher. Due to his love of gambling, Tai fell into drug addiction and drug trafficking. Tai is currently wanted for two charges of illegal drug trafficking.
