This was considered the most exciting match as both sides created a very dramatic situation. Federer had a very good start when he broke Berdych's serve twice very early in the first set to win 6/2 in this set.
It seemed like Federer would continue to have an easy victory over Berdych like he did recently.
However, the Czech player played very explosively in the second set with more powerful shots. And it was these powerful shots that helped Berdych win the second set with a score of 6/3 and bring the match to the deciding set. The situation in the third set was extremely attractive when Federer took the lead 5/2 but Berdych did not give up and pulled back 5/5.

The two took the match to a nerve-wracking tie-break and it seemed that Federer would have to accept defeat when Berdych led 6/4. However, his bravery helped the "living legend" overcome the difficulties and equalize the score 6/6. Not only that, Federer also won 2 consecutive points to win with a tie-break score of 8/6 and get a ticket to the semi-finals in a spectacular way.
Federer’s next opponent will be the young but “super naughty” talent Nick Kyrgios (Australia, 12). Because in the remaining quarter-final match that took place later, Kyrgios also had a comeback to defeat the 19-year-old player Alexander Zverev (Germany, 16) with a score of 2-1 (4/6, 7/6, 6/3).
This will be a match that promises to be very exciting between two generations of the world tennis village at 6am tomorrow morning. Before that, at 0am will be the first semi-final match between Rafael Nadal (Spain, 5th) and Fabio Fognini (Italy, world number 40).
