Former beauty queen Tra My has no regrets about leaving wushu to pursue a DJ career.

When mentioning Vu Tra My, many people still cannot forget the female athlete who was once considered the "golden girl" of Vietnamese wushu. In her 17-year career, Tra My won more than 60 medals of all kinds from world, continental to SEA Games and national tournaments. In 2011, the athlete born in 1990 surprised everyone when she decided to leave her wushu career to find a new direction as a TV MC.

After three years as an MC, Tra My continued to surprise many people when she switched to DJing. Sharing with Ngoisao.net, the former wushu beauty queen said that she had liked this job for a long time but only had the opportunity to study it later. Up to now, Tra My has been involved in music mixing for about three years. She is known by many people with the stage name MyA.

Tra My confided that she had no regrets about leaving her wushu career. Everyone needs to change to discover themselves and the DJ profession has given her many interesting experiences.

The nature of the DJ profession is working at night and often coming home late, but Tra My said she does not feel tired or have difficulty because she was used to the hardships of being an athlete.

Sharing about her orientation to create her own style when there are more and more beautiful people working as DJs in Vietnam, Tra My said: 'Most of you follow Vinahouse, dress sexy, but I choose to follow EDM music and my style is also very comfortable, I dress however I like. I think the important thing is my music taste and how I convey it to the audience rather than being too concerned about the form'.

Tra My is participating in VinaPhone Spin Awards - the largest electronic music production competition in Vietnam. She has just entered the top 50 of the competition and is competing fiercely with other contestants to win a place in the top 10.

When asked if her DJ job affects her dating life, Tra My happily revealed that her boyfriend understands and sympathizes with her so there is no problem.
