On the evening of February 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, the gala night of the Vietnam Golden Ball 2022 took place with notable award categories:

Men's Golden Ball: Nguyen Van Quyet (Golden Ball), Nguyen Tien Linh (Silver Ball), Nguyen Hoang Duc (Bronze Ball).

Women's Golden Ball: Huynh Nhu (Golden Ball), Tran Thi Thuy Trang (Silver Ball), Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy (Bronze Ball).

Futsal Golden Ball: Ho Van Y (Golden Ball), Khong Dinh Hung (Silver Ball), Chau Doan Phat (Bronze Ball).

Best young female player: Vu Thi Hoa.

Best foreign player: Rimario Gordon.

Thus, this is the second time Van Quyet has received this noble title, after the first time in 2020. Previously, the player grew up from Viettel and became famous in the shirt ofHanoi Clubtwice won the Young Player of the Year award in 2010 and 2011, as well as twice won the Silver Ball in 2014 and 2015.

Meanwhile, Huynh Nhu became the player who won the most Vietnamese Golden Balls in history after receiving the award for the 5th time. This is a worthy achievement for the best striker of the Vietnamese Women's Team as well as the Lank Club (Portugal).

Former Hoang Anh Gia Lai coach takes over Binh Duong team

On the afternoon of February 25, Binh Duong Club had its first training session at the new city training ground after round 4 of V.League. New coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan also had his first talk when he took over the task of leading the team from Mr. Lu Dinh Tuan.

Sharing with the press, Mr. Quoc Tuan said: "Currently, the team's mentality is very difficult because of the poor performance after the past 4 matches. My task is to lift the team's spirit and complete the target of entering the top 8 to successfully stay in the league."

Coach Quoc Tuan officially took over Binh Duong team on the afternoon of February 25.

"I will have to change my philosophy to suit the current person. I have to choose the playing style and players to have a stable and suitable squad. Besides, I will add 2 assistants, one is following the Vietnam U20 team, the other will be there next Monday," said Mr. Tuan.

Coach Quoc Tuan, born in 1974, led Hoang Anh Gia Lai from the 2015 to 2017 season. The former goalkeeper of Hoang Anh Gia Lai is one of 11 Vietnamese coaches with a Pro Coaching license along with Mr. Lu Dinh Tuan. After 6 years of absence, he returned to the V.League as Head Coach.

MU set price of 120 million pounds for Rashford

As the contract extension negotiations have yet to be completed, MU is worried about the risk of losing its most important star on the attack line, Marcus Rashford - a player who is exploding with a record of 24 goals.
