Former Song Lam Nghe An head coach leads Bac Ninh club
(Baonghean.vn) - Former head coach of Song Lam Nghe An - Mr. Ngo Quang Truong officially leads Bac Ninh Club to compete in the National Second Division 2023/2024.
In the 2023/2024 season, Bac Ninh Club was officially promoted to compete in the National Second Division. With the expectation of bringing the Northern team to the top soon, the club's board of directors decided to invite Mr. Ngo Quang Truong to be the head coach.
Mr. Ngo Quang Truong is an experienced coach who led Song Lam Nghe An to compete in the V.League. After Tan Long Group took over the Nghe An team, Mr. Truong was brought back to coach the youth teams. In the 2023 season, the Song Lam Nghe An U15 team under the leadership of coach Ngo Quang Truong won the runner-up position at the National U15 Championship.
After accepting an invitation from Bac Ninh club, Mr. Ngo Quang Truong decided to seek a new challenge in his coaching career. The coach, born in 1972, said goodbye to Song Lam Nghe An to become head coach of Bac Ninh Club.
In order to build this team stronger, Mr. Truong and his colleagues at the new club have planned to recruit many new personnel. Among them is central defender Dao Duy Khanh, former U23 Vietnam and Hanoi FC player. In addition, former midfielder of Song Lam Nghe An - Nguyen Quang Tinh was also invited to try out in Bac Ninh.
In addition, the Northern club also invited coach Park Hang Seo as an advisor. These moves show that Bac Ninh has ambitions to soon appear on the Vietnamese football map.
Regarding Bac Ninh Club, the team was established based on the "Project for developing men's football in Bac Ninh province" in Decision No. 740/QD-UBND dated December 13, 2018 of the Provincial People's Committee, the implementation period of phase 1 is from 2024-2030./.
