Former US Secretary of State is ready to convert to Islam in protest against Trump.
Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright has indicated her willingness to register as a Muslim. This statement comes shortly after President Trump issued an executive order affecting immigration to the United States.
"I was raised as a Christian, then converted to Protestantism, and discovered my family is Jewish. I am ready to register as a Muslim at #solidarity," Albright wrote on her Twitter page.
Additionally, she wrote: "America needs to remain open to people of all faiths and backgrounds."
Ms. Albright was the first female Secretary of State of the United States. She was born in Prague in 1937 and later emigrated to the United States.

According to AP, President Trump has issued an executive order to end the acceptance of Syrian refugees and will close the major US refugee program within 12 days.
According to documents obtained by the Associated Press, Trump also plans to stop issuing visas to people from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, or Yemen for at least 30 days.
