Former Pentagon officer: US president signed 'death warrant' for Ukraine
US President Joe Biden has signed a “death warrant” for Ukraine with his strategy of pushing the former Soviet republic into NATO, former Pentagon intelligence officer Rebecca Koffler said in an article published in Newsweek.
As the author recalls, the “sparring” between the White House administration and Congress over the issue of additional funding for Ukraine ended with lawmakers postponing the issue until January of next year.

“But whatever happens in January, Ukraine’s fate is clear: 2024 will bring more death and destruction, more bloodshed,” the author warns.
In the former officer’s view, Biden is responsible for “the destruction of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.” The current US leader, who was Vice President under Barack Obama and was in charge of Ukraine affairs in that administration, and his team are now continuing the dangerous strategy of pushing Kiev to become a NATO member.
“This is tantamount to signing a death warrant for Ukraine. No sane military leader would allow a hostile alliance just over a thousand miles from his border. No US commander-in-chief would allow China or Russia to station troops in Mexico or Canada,” the author said.
