Rescue fishing boat and 6 fishermen in distress at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 15, at Hon Ngu sea area, Nghe An Border Guard Command received fishing boat number QB 92133 TS and fishermen handed over by Coast Guard ship 2006 (Command of Coast Guard Region 1).

Previously, at 11:15 p.m. on April 13, Coast Guard ship 2006 received orders from the Coast Guard Region 1 Command to urgently search and rescue fishing boat number QB 92133TS, which had a broken main engine in the coordinate area 18.049' N - 106049'E (more than 60 nautical miles from shore).
The boat of Mr. Nguyen Van Diep (born in 1978, residing in Thanh Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) and 5 other fishermen at that time lost the ability to control and drifted at sea.
The weather at sea was rough and windy, endangering the lives of the fishermen, the ship owner requested an urgent rescue. After many hours at sea at night, at 8:30 a.m. on April 14, the Coast Guard ship 2006 approached and towed the fishing boat in distress to the Hon Ngu sea area.

Immediately after receiving the ship, BP 06-13-01 of the Nghe An Border Guard Squadron 2 organized a tow to the distressed ship and brought all 6 fishermen to the Squadron 2 port safely./.
