Former Song Lam Nghe An goalkeeper joins second division team.
In preparation for the 2025 National Second Division League, Bac Ninh Club has successfully recruited former Song Lam Nghe An goalkeeper Le Van Hung.
According to Le Van Hung, his contract with Kinh Bac team is for two years, specifically until the end of the 2026 season. Thus, the goalkeeper from Thai Hoa town will play for Bac Ninh Club for the second consecutive season.
InNational Second Division In 2024, Le Van Hung was the number one goalkeeper for the team coached by Ngo Quang Truong. Evidence of this is that the goalkeeper, born in 1992, played in 11 out of 12 matches, keeping a clean sheet in 8 of them.
Le Van Hung's outstanding performance in goal contributed to Bac Ninh Club's qualification for the final round. Unfortunately, the team from Kinh Bac missed out on promotion after losing to Ho Chi Minh City Youth after a penalty shootout.
Reportedly, Bac Ninh Club's goal in the 2025 National Second Division is to gain promotion to the 2026 First Division. This is no easy task for coach Ngo Quang Truong and his team, as their opponents are all formidable.
Theoretically, the strong contenders for the two promotion spots in the 2025 National Second Division are Bac Ninh Club, Quang Ninh Club, and Kon Tum Club. Hopefully, Le Van Hung and his teammates will successfully complete the assigned task.
Before playing for Bac Ninh Club (2024), Le Van Hung previously played for Song Lam Nghe An (2015-2022) and Quang Nam (2023). During his eight seasons at Vinh Stadium, Le Van Hung helped his hometown team win the 2017 National Cup./.
