3 football teams simultaneously leave the First Division 2024/2025
"Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan Club has a document confirming that it will not participate in the National First Division, Long An has also done the same. We are only waiting for Khanh Hoa Club but it is also very difficult," said a leader of Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company VPF.

Thus, it is almost certain that Long An, Khanh Hoa and Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan will all withdraw from the National First Division. The tournament will have only 9 teams instead of 12 as originally planned. Initially, Dong Nai and Ba Ria Vung Tau also considered stopping the game. Fortunately, Ba Ria Vung Tau had enough funding at the last minute, and Dong Nai Club received a financial commitment from the locality.

Besides Golovin, other prominent players such as Aleksey Miranchuk (former Atalanta player) and Arsen Zakharyan (currently playing for Real Sociedad) will also not be present in the September training camp.
V-League Transfer: Hanoi FC recruits African striker

According to the latest V-League transfer news, foreign striker Augustine Chidi Kwem has signed a contract with Hanoi FC after a trial period. Previously, some brokers introduced this face to the V-League and the 1m87 tall striker finally chose the capital team as his new destination.
Augustine Chidi Kwem is a Nigerian national but has spent most of his career playing in South Africa. In his last season, he scored 7 goals for Ama Zulu. However, after the end of the season, Chidi Kwem left the club.
In the 2024/2025 season, Hanoi FC will not participate in international competitions, so they can only use 3 foreign players. In addition to Augustine Chidi Kwem, the former V-League champion team retains Tim Hall and is still looking for another foreign player.
