Former U17 SLNA striker joins Phu Tho Club

The striker born in 1996 is a product of the training center.SLNA, the same generation as Phan Van Duc, Pham Xuan Manh and Bui Dinh Chau. Nguyen Huu Tuan's most impressive achievement in SLNA's youth teams was the championship at the 2012 National U17 Finals.

However, unlike his three teammates of the same age mentioned above, the player from Vinh city has never played for SLNA's first team and often has to play for other teams on loan. Since the 2015-2018 season, Nguyen Huu Tuan has played for Kon Tum, Dong Nai and People's Public Security.

Realizing that the chance of staying at Vinh Stadium was too slim, Nguyen Huu Tuan decided to terminate his training contract with SLNA to join Ba Ria - Vung Tau, which was playing in the Second Division at that time. During the 2 seasons playing for the "sea eagle" team (2019 - 2020), Nguyen Huu Tuan has somewhat demonstrated his ability.

At the end of last season, Nguyen Huu Tuan's contract with the team nicknamed "sea eagle" was not renewed and he had to look for a new opportunity at Phu Tho Club, a rookie team of the 2021 National First Division. Thus, Phu Tho Club is the 5th professional team that the former striker has joined.U17 SLNAjacket, as of this writing.

At the "Hung Vuong's homeland" team in the 2021 season, Nguyen Huu Tuan will play under the guidance of new coach Vu Nhu Thanh, former center back of the Vietnam National Team. Before coach Vu Nhu Thanh was appointed, the head coach position of Phu Tho Club belonged to coach Ho Thanh Thuong (2019) and coach Duong Hong Son (2020)./.
