Previously, Head of the VFF Referee Board Nguyen Van Mui was introduced by VFF member organizations to run for the VFF Executive Committee for the 8th term, but he withdrew.
It can be said that with the appearance of former golden whistle Vo Minh Tri and Mr. Doan Phu Tan, the race for the position of Head of the Referee Board seems to be very exciting. Referee Vo Minh Tri was recognized as a FIFA referee in 2001 and retired after receiving the title of excellent referee of the 2017 season.
Former referee Vo Minh Tri, born in 1972, won the 2010 “Golden Whistle” award. Referee supervisor Doan Phu Tan, born in 1953, was trained by FIFA and AFC as a referee instructor.
Previously, Deputy Head of the Referee Board Duong Van Hien was considered "unrivaled" for the position of Head of the Board for the 8th term, especially after Head of the Referee Board for the 7th term Nguyen Van Mui asked to withdraw in the next term./.
