The suspect who stole a phone in Dien Chau district has been apprehended.
(Baonghean.vn) - The police in Dien Chau district have successfully apprehended a young man who robbed two iPhone 14 Pro Max phones from a phone store in Dien Chau district.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, earlier, at around 12 PM on May 23rd, a man in his 20s went to the NT Mobile phone store located on National Highway 1A (next to Nguyen Xuan On High School) in Hamlet 8, Dien Thanh Commune (Dien Chau District).
A young man entered the store pretending to buy a phone. As soon as the phone was handed to him by the employee, he used a weapon to threaten and overpower the store employee, stealing two iPhone 14 Pro Max phones. After committing the crime, the suspect fled with the stolen goods.
Upon receiving the report, the Dien Chau District Police immediately organized a force to verify the information and apprehend the suspect. By early afternoon on May 25th, they successfully arrested the aforementioned individual who was hiding in Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi).
Initially, the suspect identified himself as Vu Van Duc (born in 2006), residing in Thinh My hamlet, Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district, and admitted to committing the phone robbery on May 23rd at the NT phone store in Hamlet 8, Dien Thanh commune (Dien Chau).
The incident is currently under further investigation.
